Crashes of BSPlayer

Hi there,

I've been using BSPlayer for over 3 years and I think it's great, but with regards to stability it has never been as good as it should.

I've upgraded to version 1.810 but the problem is still there. I'm getting spontaneous "shutdowns", ocassional image freezing (while the audio keeps playing) and sometimes I get the "Unhandled exception" message which in my case has nothing to do with Morgan stream switcher (I don't use it).

I've noticed that most of the crashes relate to using subtitles. Specifically, when I don't load subtitles - things work smoother. When I do load, and sometimes it happens while attempting to open a subtitles file - I usually get a crash at one point or another.

I'd like to help the developers by sending examples but naturally this is all erratic and can't be reproduced. Is there a log file or other crash dump that I can send?

Many thanks!

A few techincal details: My system is WinXP Home ed. SP 1, Running on P4 HT 2.4GHz, Intel Chipset with integrated SoundMax sound card. NVidia GeForce 5200 FX video card. Memory is 1.5 GB. I mostly watch DivX/XVid AVI files, but I may have had crashes with MPEGs too. I recall having these problem with every previous versions of BSPlayer, also on my previous system (Win2000, 512MB, P3 800, GeForce 2).
