Strange message

Hi!

The same problem here with fddshow:

BSplayer v1.00.810, Unhandled exception at EIP: 0354572B
If you click 'Close' application will be terminated.
Please report this info to the author with description what were you doing.
Access violation at address 0354572B in module 'FFDSHOW.AX'. Read of address FFFFFFFF

However the video still works, only that picture transitions cause a mess on the screen. The upcoming shots mix all up, not one clears.
I tried to uninstall fddshow, but then I got a clean but crazily trembling image.

Gspot shows another compatible xvid decoder: Xvid MPEG-4 video decoder, but I cannot switch to it?

Can anyone help me? The same problem with DivX2 and WMPlayer 6...

Thanx

Uninstall FFdshow, or update it, or in configuration panel, uncheck suport for xvid. XviD decoder will be loaded after automatically. And also update XviD at least to ver 1.

To Iguana:
What kind of subtitles do you have ?

fddshow upgrade

Thanx!

I've already upgraded fddshow and it's working fine now. Seems that it also solved my MMSwitch problems too. One single movie thast I have and worked has now a slow picture motion, but I'm going to try the DivX support trick You suggested right now. Hope it will work.

Bests Dummy
