Default maybe a bugs with subtitles in build 492 and previous.

Hi, I have been using bsplayer for a long time and I really like it but I encountered 2 problems (but I'm not sure if these problems concern to the player)

Two characters are not shown correctly: all "ˇ" is replaced for a "z" with a point over and all the "??" is replaced for a "^" inverted (I have to explain it in this way because the characters shown instead ˇ and ?? are not ASCII)

2-Movies with subtitles ssa embedded (muxed with submux -a vobsub program-) cannot show the subtitles, is really weird because this kind of subtitles can be shown with any player like windows media player, zoom player or ATI player.

I encountered this two problems using bsplayer 0.85.492 (and previous) under Win98 and WinXP. If someone can verify this problems and know the solutions please let me know and if these are bugs please that the genius authors of bsplayer try to fix it.

Thanks and best regards.

Thanks, the font problem is solved, respect to the vobsub problem I really tried to find the solution in the forum before post this message but the only topic that I encounter was that "vobsub 2.15 and higher won't work with bsplayer less than 490; bsplayer 0.85.490 won't work with vobsub 2.14 and below" and this is not my case because I'm using the latest bsplayer version (build 492) and the latest vobsub version (v2.22) besides this I tried using bsplayer build 490 and 492 with vobsub 2.16; 2.18 and 2.20 too but the error persist.
In the file attached you can see the log error generated by dr. watson.
Thanks for any help and sorry for any inconvenience.

At my place it works, but only with overlay mode 2 (default overlay mode is mode 1, see preferences-->video).
won't work with build 492 though, as overlay 2 crashes (if 492 works for you in mode 2 i'd be glad to know ;)) [I'm still on build 490 because of that]

Exactly, the the only way to make it works is with build 490 in mode 2, thanks a lot Quietseb.
