VOB crashes BSplayer... crashes whole system if player...

Just downloaded BSplayer last night. Used it to play .avi files with separate .srt subtitle files. Worked perfectly for that application.

I'm impressed with BSplayer for it's many features, including great colour controls, subtitle controls, image capture feature, etc. etc. I LOVE IT!

PROBLEM: The player crashes on opening VOB files. If opened again to play ANY kind of file, Windows shuts down and I must re-boot computer. Have tried 3 different movies (VOB's) with the same results.

I am running Windows XP with Microsoft Windows Update SP2.

Hope to use BSplayer soon for viewing VOB's. It could be my favorite player... and I have 6 different ones installed.

Install an MPEG2 decoder such as Elecard or BitCtrl. It should solve the problem.

Thank you, adicoto, I installed the elecard decoder and can now play the .vob files.

Problem solved!
