Default "Can't create DirectDraw surface!"

This is a problem i've had before but for some reason disappeared. Now it appeared again. I haven't installed nor un-installed anything, or changed anything else. It appeared after a reboot.

And it's not a problem with a specific format, i can't play any movies, the message keeps coming "Can't create DirectDraw surface!"

I tried installing the newest version of BSPlayer with no effect.

can u play videos in other players? if not, it could be the video card driver problem

Yes i can play the movies without problems in Media Player

Media Player don't use overlay.
Please tell us what video card do you have and what settings do you have in options->preferences->video->renderer

i was allways wondering: if wmp doesnt use overlay, then why isn't there picture on both monitor and tv at the same time??????????
