Hi all!

When I try to play a mpg file my BS player gives me this:

The movie plays fine with wmp10.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

Many thanks!

Do you have BSPlayer Pro, or regular BSPlayer?
Try uninstalling BSPlayer and installing it again.

Install an MPEG2 decoder such as Elecard or bitctrl

I use regular BSplayer. And thanks! I reinstalled it and installed a different decoder and now it works fine.

Thanks!

The program made me the same error with AVI files too. After reinstalling was nothing changed, I can't play any video files at all with BSplayer.
In an older version I met this bug, and the solution was installing a newer version. But there is no newer version...

Uninstalling FFDShow and installing DivX and XviD decoder is a good ideea.
If you like FFDShow and don't want to uninstall, then install a newer version of FFDShow.
