MPEG2 files!

When I open an MPEG2 file in BSplayer, the time goes but there is no audio and I can't see anything. Help?

Do you happen to know if you have an MPEG2 Video Decoder installed? E.g. Moonlight Elecard/Ligos?
[What is shown under filters when you play mpeg2? (rightclick > Options > Filters > advanced)]
Check out adicoto's list of codecs.
