external VBR-mp3's out of synch

build 803 still isn't able to synch an external vbr mp3 audio track that has been opened with 'open audio file'. as long as you watch the video and audio from the beginning it's no problem, but as soon as you jump in the video it's desynchronized. any plans to fix this?
