What does this mean please:

Receive this every time I double click on a video file:

Access violation at address 0050A63A in module 'bsplayer.exe' Read of address 00000010

And file refuses to open.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Using Bsplayer version 1.22(free) Build 817
Windows XP

A bit more information please.
What kind of file are you trying to open by double-clicking on it?
What happens if you try to open the same file from BSPlayer's "open file"-function?
