Can't play locked files Hi I can't play locked files (files still downloading). I know it works, but not on my computer. I got newest version of BSplayer, newest codecs. Running on W98, but I thing it should not affect this. BTW "open locked media files" is checked in my settings, of course;) So why doesn't it work? Still makes error message "Can't open file." Any ideas? Thnx Chuchulo |
Hi, I never tried to play locked files in Windows 9.x/ME systems, but it should work... As worst possibility playing locked files is not supported under that kind of systems (like the CD feature), but I don't think so :? |
Same here, using XP Pro. Since last 2-3 builds this option seems to not work any more. Especially with Xvid files. Haven't tryed with DivX. |
Thanks a lot. I found an older version (100.814) and playing locked files works. I would like to report this bug, but I don't know where. However, sound works only with some of locked files I tried. Is it normal? BSplayer rules! Chuchulo |
To report a bug there is a section on this forum called Bug reports. But I am sure that this post will be read and, with some help, newer versions will have back this option. Yes, some of the incoming files do lack sound. But be patient. It will come up. |
Same on build 1.36 build 825 |
