"BSPLAYER caused an invalid page fault..."

Please, please help me...this is driving me nuts. None of my video programs will play this one file...and this is the message BS gives me:

BSPLAYER caused an invalid page fault in
module XVID.DLL at 0167:0304a417.

 This makes no sense to me...GSpot claims this file is fine, and that I can watch it...is there some other way I should be checking? I am dying to watch this stupid thing, and I'm about to pull my hair out, lol.

Help. Please.

I'm running Windows98(second edition), which hasn't given me too much trouble before, and the latest BS player.

Maybe try to uninstall your XviD codecs, then reinstall the latest version of them, or use DivX to decode all supported MPEG4 formats

Ta-daa!

:D Thank-you so much, Tizio! Uninstalling then re-installing the xvid worked like a charm. Many thanks to you!
