Microsofts WMV screen capture codec plays upsidedown in BS

This codec is used when you record your screen using windows media encoder 9. Its a special kind of WMV windows media 9 codec, that makes the screen capture playback small and clear.

When I play the video (wmv) back in windows media player it appears normal.
But in my amazement when I play in BS player its upside down and inverted (mirrored). I am aware of this problem in the xvid or divx codec...
I have read about it in the past.. but this is a WMV codec... it should not be happening. :?:

By any chance, is FFDshow the filter used to decode the movie instead of WMV ?
