Audio sync problems

Hi,
I have some video files, the audio and video syncs perfectly at normal speed, but at high speed, the video lags behind the audio.
After some time, it picks up and then it starts lagging behind again, and then the process repeats itself.

I have a fairly fast computer: Athlon 2800, 512 MB ram, Geforce GO 5200.

I was wondering if there was omething I could do to keep everything in sync?

Thanks for all the good work. We users greatly appreciate it.

Im sorry. What happens is that the audio lags behind the video.

Im using the divx codec from divx.com and the fraunhoper codec for audio from freecodecs.com

Gspot says that the filesize is correct for the bitrate.

BS player: version 1.37, Build 826.

to recap the problem,
The clip runs fine at 100% speed.

When i increase the speed, the audio starts laggin behind the video. After about 30 seconds, the video pauses, as if giving the audio the time to catch up, but the two are never synccrhonised.

:( please help!

Thanks.

Can you disable audio hardware acceleration ?
This usually happens when audio filter can't decode properly. Either the filter is bad either audio drivers.
