no sound I am trying to play a VOB which was ripped from a DVD.The image is OK but i cannot here any sound.I had the same problem with Windows Media Player(with the same file). I came to the conclusion that is a missing codec problem, I downloaded AC3 filter. The problem in Windows Media Problem was solved. But the problem in BSplayer remained.(no sound) What can be wrong? In Options in the filter management i saw that AC3,Vorbis and DivX aare all installed and since i read in the F.A.Q section that these codecs are required than normally there should not be a problem but there still is. I need to say that with other file types there is no problem. The problem appears only with VOB. And the file must be OK since it plays with WNP. |
Can you tell us wich MPEG2 decoder do you use (options->filters when running an MPEG2=VOB file). Are you sure the file have AC3 and not DTS ? |
Perhaps also check what is selected at "For AC3 decoding use:" under (rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Audio  |
no sound Thank you, both of you the problem was resolved. |
Should be nice to post here how it was solved, in benefits of other users, |
