Some Equalizer Bugs (Free version only?)
- The settings are not always remembered in the free version.
- The equalizer On state can be actived only from the Base v2 Equalizer skin (not possible from the settings' window).
- Once the settings window is opened the band levels are setted to Default values.

Playlist Bug

After loading some avi's into the playlist and saving it, the playlist looks fine... But as soon as try and load another playlist this is what I get:

http://www.cyberbeach.net/skube/weird_playlist.JPG

then when I go back to the first playlist it too is all gibberish... I use playlists alot and hope this can be addressed ASAP

QB

Update: After more playing around I have found what the problem is... it is the new skin. Once I went back to the old skin and the "oldstyle" playlist
they work fine. I liked the new skin but I will stick with the old until there is a fix

BUG:
- There are still bugs and unsupported features regarding Haali media splitter.
As test reported here (please, read the whole topic) with MKV containers and VobSub subtitles bundled into it, if you disable subtitles before you play the movie then BSplayer reports an error. Plus the SSA subtitles features are not all supported (custom fonts etc.). The ERROR MESSAGE problem should be related only to NON Windows XP systems (i.e. Win 9.x/ME/2000), but there is a possibility that it can present itself also on Windows XP machines.

XP too.

full screen - main window doesn't popup when i go up

hi,

in full screen - main window doesn't popup when i go the uppper margin of the screen.

why did you removed this functionality?

it was the only way to avoid clashing with subtitles.

It's not a bug, take a look at the second part of this post

And you can still use an old skin which showed that bar in the top part of the screen..

alextorex 10th July 2006 06:14 PM

not a bug?

ok I am a programmer myself and usually
this kind of stuff result in a bug no matter how hard i try to convince otherwise the client.

the ini file of the default skin should have good & logical defaults.

strange bug

Hi! I have found a strange bug. I don't know if it is fixed in the new release or not, I don't even know if it has to do with BSplayer.

So when I'm watching xvid movies they all look kinda red. But it goes away if I first open the movie in media player, don't close it and open the same file in BSplayer. I don't think I had this problem earlier and I haven't reinstalled the Xvid codec (the newest Koepi).

Can you adjust colours (with movie loaded) rightclick > Video > Color controls? (Or on base-skin click Video and then colorcontrols icon.)

"newest Koepi" = like the stable or unstable binary? Check if BSPlayer is indeed using XviD codec for playback (rightclick > Options > Filters > Advanced)

Build 937, like the thread says :)

Ok, this is even more strange. When I simply start it and get the red one, the values are: 0,90,114,0. But when I all set them to 0, it doesn't look nice, it gets almost like black and white. When I do it the other way (open the file in media player first) everything is set to 0 and looks good.

well, it's the latest unstable :) I've been using it since it has been released, but didn't notice anything like this. I think I would have noticed theese too colorful (too red) colors. And yes, it uses the Xvid codec.

This is really one of the strangest things I've seen software do :)
