Frequent crashes by MKV encoded with xvid After upgrading to the v2.10, i'm facing a problem where xvidcore.dll (Koepi's v1.1) would frequently crash when playing MKV files that are encoded with XVID or MPEG-4. This happens only to MKV files, i have yet to experience it when playing AVI files. I first thought heavy CPU usage was the cause but it's the quite the opposite. After checking Task Manager and Process Explorer, BSplayer uses 100% CPU usage and it would then crash. Also tried on my desktop and still facing the same problem. I'm pretty sure my machines are free from viruses or worms. |
