I have edit association in folder option but no success. I use: - BSplayer Pro version 2.11 Build 940 - Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00 (WinXP SP2) Thanks. |
Confirmed, as I've seen this warning many times. I don't remember in wich ocasions, but not necesary related to Outlook. |
With BSplayer Pro v1.32 build 820 was no problem. I have try on couple computers. |
I don't have Outlook. But I have seen this message in some applications while working with my custom associations where the registry key APPLICATION in HKCR\<FILE_TYPE>\shell\<APPLICATION>\command is not called "open". |
I have found out the problem. It was no OPEN entry. I nave manualy add the entry and it work. By all files. http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/5382/image3od8.jpg By. |
Just remembered those ocasions today when trying to open a file recieved via Yahoo messenger. |
The application should execute the default command from "HKCR\BSPlayerFile.WMV\shell\(default)" (in this example), either Enqueue, Play or Playbs. This is what happens if you double-click in Explorer or most alternative file managers for Windows. But for some reason many programs just look for an "Open" command. |
