Nvidia MPEG2 decoder problem I am using the Nvidia DVD MPEG2 codecs to read DVD videos. In BsPlayer, the video is totally blurred, I can only see messy horizontal stripes. In Windows Media Player 9, it works perfectly. For both applications, I can see that the Nvidia decoder is used, because there is a NVidia decoders icon in the systray popping up as soon as the dvd-video starts. Also BsPlayer tells me that this decoder is in use (by right click > options > filters). Anyone experienced the same problems? |
Hi, I wanted to try NVIDIA decoder, but it need WMP to be installed first and I don't want to do it.. ANyway never had any roblem using other decoders like Elecard one (also included in K-Lite Mega Codec Pack) NOTE: IF YOU INSTALL KLMCP SELECT ONLY THE CODECS YOUR REALLY NEED |
According to this article in french: http://www.presence-pc.com/tests/ATI...reVideo-330/5/ The PureVideo decoder is adapted to some software, not to all. Perhaps this thread should go to the feature request forum? |
