BS Pro 5-channel sound. How?

I don't know is it bug but I thought the topic's place must be here. Also, I've read the FAQs in the index page but there was no answer to my question. I don't know how, but SOMEHOW Media Player Classic can make 5.1 channel sound to play in two speakers only and I can hear all sounds in the movie. But with BS Player (Pro) I can hear the character's voices but they sound like they come from the outer space. So, HOW can I make BS Player to put the 5 channel sound in two speakers only? ANY codecs or something else? I have no idea what the hey is AC3 Filter.
And what would happen if I just copy the whole dll-files (I suppose these are the codec files?) from the media player directory to the BS directory? Is it gonna crash?

No, it won't crash, but it won't use them either. The problem seems to be in downmixing to 2 channels, who results in lowering the voice level (substracting two channles one from another make the common sound to dissapear - and the voice it's usually the same on all the streams). Wich audio decoder it's used ?

I don't know. What should I search on the PC to be able to tell you which is the audio decoder? If it can help - this is BS Pro 2.14.942.

edit: this is what I found about the audio:

For the information requested by adicoto read BSPeter's sticky post "READ THIS FIRST BEFORE POSTING"

Do we talk about an old computer or a laptop (I see SigmaTel audio) ?
To see the filter used: play a file, rightclick->options->filters->advanced and you should see it.

Don't know about ffdshow, but with AC3filter it is no problem to output 5 channel sound to two (stereo) speakers only.
For AC3-filter: See item (4) of my Help2Help-post.

PC: nvidia 6600 GT, 2.4 GHz, Intel, 1 GB RAM...

But anyway. I already found the perfect player.
