Same thing under Vista. |
Just saw your video. Strange! Overhere I do still get the two-way arrow! (Will check the subtitle-issue) |
1 Attachment(s) Under Vista, filter information form does not display the information for some of the filters/splitters used |

Yeap, it makes, all the difference in the world. :) |
So we've been able to narrow down the "videowindow-resize/double-arrow" bug to the situation where "Borderless play window" is selected. With that option selected the video window can no longer be resized using the cursor. (Previously this possibility always worked. Also checked this for versions 1.37 and 0.86). |
You are the man :D Congrats for this idea  |
 |
Minor error in the lng file changes for this version if you compaire with the actual OSD info; C3_5=Movie time/remaining time Should be: C3_5=Movie time/movie length Cheers EDIT:Actually the lng file is correct (he he), we already have the same info in C3_4 plus percentage so it's another bug to squish. |
ACDSee conflict: http://bsplayer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=37591#37591 |
Windows XP Pro, latest XviD, latest BSPLayerPRO, using internal renderer, default, after openeing task manager video window remains black. Remembered some time ago a similar post was in here. |
WinXP-home/DivX5.2.1/BS.Player Pro 2.21.950/internal renderer overlay (default): no problem; movies (e.g. LastManStanding.divx but also XviD encoded movies, which is the majority I have) continue to play. |
3 Attachment(s) 1) In last version 2.20 i found strange bug: I have movie with 2 external SRT subtitles. When I run BS, it autoloads CZ subs. All ok. Then I switch to EN. Still all ok. But when I switch back to CZ, all diacritic characters dissapears. (Look at pic 1. ) 2) Second bug remains in many versions of BS. EN subtitles displays OK, but when I switch to CZ, some subtitles are "cropped" left and right. Part of each first character of subtitle is invisible. (Look at pic. 2) Subtitles also in attachement. |
Since almost four weeks now last version isn't 2.20 but version 2.21. Some changes were made in 2.21 with respect to subtitles. So perhaps download latest version. Further a question: did you happen to see these threads? http://bsplayer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=37321#37321 http://bsplayer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=37748#37748  PS: When diacritic characters are no longer shown, could you please check which font "script" is used? |

Ok I discovered, that problem with "cutted" subtitles will happen only with Haali media splitter (but subtitles are outside MKV in SRT format, so what???) With Gabest everything OK. So the problem with missed diacritic characters is caused evidently by Haali...hmmm very strange. Ok, at now I use Gabest and everything seems OK (except that movie window can't be moved up out of the main screen :) ) Thx BSPeter for help. |
:) |
My (I hope) last quaestion: Do you discover, why is problem with Haali? Gabest it's ok, but Haali is far more better then Gabest. |
The problems regarding Haali and the cutoff subtiles it's old and known, even by the team members. I don't know why they haven't yet take this into consideration. |
Yes, I think the complaints in this forum about Haali and BS.Player having incompatibility issues are persisting for quite some time now (it must come close to two years?), which seems pretty bad to me. |
