dvr-ms playback and resize issue with 2.24

I recently switched from 2.11 to 2.24 and i have a few direct issues.
first thing i notices was that i cannot resize the windowed mode anymore with my mouse. Only the +- and scrollwheel options work but i read that you guys are fixing it, so i'll wait.

Secondly, i always use bsplayer to playback my mce2005 recorded dvr-ms files on my secondary screen. I have 2x20.1" wide screens on an ati x1950pro and for some reason mplayer 11 doesnt do overlay on my secondary screen and bsplayer does so...
After the upgrade it stopped working, bsplayer just freezes when loading a dvr-ms file and it takes up most of the cpu resources.

Together with the switch i upgraded my ati catalyst drivers from 7.9 to 7.10 so i thought it could be that, but after going back to 7.9 they still crash.

A last issue is doing a drag & drop between screens when a movie is playing causes this error
Code:

BSplayer v2.24.954, Unhandled exception at EIP: 0059B603
If you click 'Close' application will be terminated.
Please report this info to the author with description what were you doing.
If you have internet connection, it's recommended to send error report, this will help us solve problems faster.

i went back to 2.11 but the issue remained, even after deleting all the settings.

About the first issue, it has already been reported (it affects only few users) and it will be fixed with next release (v2.25)

For the second issue you have, I'm almost certain it is caused by your drivers update.
Remember that before you switch back to your previous drivers you better should delete all of previous driver tracks by using softwares like Driver Cleaner
