Can't screencapture! Hi everyone, well the thing is, I use BSPlayer a lot mainly for the screencapture feature ( P ) and it had always worked fine. But recently, any time I press P, the program freezes. The movie keeps rolling, but I can't click none of the controls and hotkeys. It's driving me mad, cause it's happening with every version I try :( Codecs I use: Haali Media Splitter, ffdshow (both part os the Matroska Codec pack) Hope someone can help! Thanks in advance! |
Have you tried to follow all BSPeter's READ THIS FIRST BEFORE POSTING (b) I wish to capture screens, but ... suggestions? At lest have you tried to change rendering mode? |
Thanks for the answer. Well, I tried all the rendering formats, and this is happening with every of them. I just don't know what else I can do. |
Try to reinstall the codecs used.. Plus there are other programs that listen for the P key? What happens if you change it in BSplayer preferences to something else (CTRL+P -> Keydefinitions and WinLIRC) |
Alright, I FINALLY FIXED THIS!! The problem was that in the Preferences, my captured name format was lacking the %A3 at the end, and that (if im not mistaken) gives the images the number at the end (per ex. image0001.jpg). Therefore, my BSP crashed when I tried getting screencaps. Thank you very much Tizio for the help. |
Yes, that code adds the numbers at the end of the captured images. I'm glad to ear that you managed to solve your problem :) |
