V I S T A / W 7 OS installation and registration problems

Under VISTA/W7 operating systems, some problems may occur after installation and registration - due to "security" orientated design of these OS.

1. "When I try to use the player it will ask for register info that already been processed once before. When I put the Register info, my name and product code I get an errror messege "error saving registration data C:\Program Files\Webteh\BSplayerProlite\ is not writable".

"What happen is every time I fill-up the fields in the registration dialog box and after restarting the BSPlayer Pro, the Registration Dialog Box keeps on appearing. I did enter the correct details."

"I can't get my registration accepted. I get this message: Error Saving Registration Data C:\Program Files\Webteh\BSPlayerPro\ is not writable."

Solution: BS.Player cannot store your registration information because your current user account does not have the needed rights to write in this folder. Register BS.Player using admin account.

Sorry, but it's not true. I've done registration under adminidtrator privileges and it's all the same.

BS.Player vista free video player

Try to reinstall BS.Player and keep all settings to their default values (just click on Next until you finish the installation) and then register.

This will solve your problems registering and installing BS.Player properly under Vista OS (if you are logged in with proper admin account).

I'm experiencing the same problem under Vista Basic ... I just cannot register your application (v2.27.958) ... I tried to run the bs.player with admin rights; I reinstalled it three times ... each time after allegedly successful registration bs.player has to restart and I have to enter my registration code again (and again) :( ... and beside that I get a message that there is a new version of the player available namely 2.27.959 :?

Problem solved!

 I have dl the newest version of the bs.player v2.27.959 as your support team has suggested; entered new registration data (run everything as admin just in case  ) and now it works fine :D

Thank you for your help :)
