Can't play sub titles on Vista

Greetings...

Like topic already said, BSPlayer don't display subtitles (SSA/SRT) which the subtitles file has the same filename as the video file and located in the same directory. I tried manually open subtitles but it also won't display. It works fine on XP version but I don't have XP now. So any help?

Thank you in advance.

ATM I don't have Vista installed to test it.. I hope someone else will be able to help you

I can confirm this. It's sad that creators of this great player haven't done anything about vista - mind you, vista is here for more than a year now - and people are turning to other players like Media Player Classic that works without problems on vista.

Because those players don't need registrations (e.g. BSplayer Pro) and to save settings in installation dir.

Have you tried to install by saying "Save settings in user home folder"?
Plus it's not enough to login with administrator rights, you also need to start the application with admin privileges (right click on the app and click on "Run as administrator")

As an alternative you can try to login with the HIDDEN administrator account (search the internet on how to make it available on log on screen)

@SergioPlayboy in reference to your other post:
If it still says you have not a registered copy also after you register it probably you are using a keygen to create a valid serial... otherwise write to BSplayer team by using the proper form for support available to legitimate customers

Greetings,

thank you. I have tested the beta version out and it is fixed with SSA files for vista, the only thing is about SRT files within a MKV format video, it won't display subtitle (I have the matroska pack installed, so I haven't problem playing MKV files). I hope this info help you make bsplayer even better. Thank you!
