Two annoying subtitle bugs.

First is about subtitles changing their size depending on what resolution the movie is. If I watch a movie at SD resolution and after that start a HD quality video my subs are changed from 36 to about 55 and every single time i have to adjust them, which for a movie lover is freaking annoying.

Second I want to ask if BSPlayer officially supports .MKV extensions? Because that is the only extention i have problems with the subs. At least 50% of the movie the subs are getting cut off at half or even more than half. Some times they dont even appear. And thats ONLY with .MKV. If I try with Media Player Classic the problem does not exist. Strange, but fact.

1. In options->preferencies->subtitle, disable "Resize OSD and subtitle font automatically" and should work fine now.
2. This is Haali's fault with the cutoff subtitles. INstall Gabest MKV splitter and the problem should be fixed. (MPC uses Gabest, as MPC is Gabest player).

PS: try to update to the last beta released build, it's the best ever.

Thanks for the advice. The first thing is OFF. But i couldnt manage to install Matroska MKV (which is Gabest, as the site says)... With it my .MKV files does not start, i get an ERROR! in BSPlayer, when i reverse back to HAALI it starts...

Before installoing Gabest, you must uninstall Haali.
To install Gabest, you need to put the matroskasplitter.ax file into a folder that will remain where you put it. Now, in this folder, create a new text file and put in the file this code:

Code:

regsvr32 /s matroskasplitter.ax
Now, rename the text file as "register.bat" instead on new file.txt and double clik on it.

Thanks, uninstalling Haali was the problem.
Now I can watch movies safely :)
Thanks adicoto!
