Help! About playback speed

For some reason, an mkv video I'm trying to watch is playing twice as fast as normal, and the playback speed is 1x. So I set the playback speed to 1/2x and the audio sounds fine, but the video is still playing twice as fast.

Does anyone have a solution to this?

I am using BS.Player 2.30 FREE on a Windows Vista

For some reason, the video works just fine in VLC player

Is it just one MKV file ? Can you post here some specifications (wich splitter and decoding filter it's used) and some details about the file (video codec, audio codec, nr of subtitles, chapters and so...) ?
