bsplayer 2.34 doesn't work on Vista SP1 1 Attachment(s) I've installed the free version 2.34 of BSPlayer on Vista with SP1, and each time when I want to close a video file or when the video ends, appears the picture shown below. With the free version 2.33 of BSPlayer I didn't have that problem. Where can I get the free version 2.33 of BSPlayer? Many thanks in advance. Cesar |
Unfortunately due to lack of space on my HDD I don't keep the old free versions anymore, only old PRO, and free versions till v2.31 Anyway I think that that problem is given by an unproper loaded coded or by a compatibility issue between rendering mode and codecs used.. Try to change rendering mode (CTRL+P -> Video -> Video renderer -> Rendering mode) And post here the codecs used by BSplayer to decode your movies (with video playing -> right-click -> Options -> Filters -> Advanced) |
Freezing Starting from version 2.33 I am experiencing problems when I try watching files on the full screen. The picture just freezes. I am using Vista SP1 and Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Video. Please see what you can do. Thanks |
I believe that I'm experiencing the same problem as you Denis, so I am not going to open a new topic. Well whenever I open a video file and try to watch it in full screen mode the video freezes after a few seconds but the audio keeps running. It happens always with every video file. Than I have to stop the video and play it again in order to watch it in full screen. I have BS.Payer PRO v2.34, Build 980 I am using Windows Vista SP1, 32-bit PC Chipset: Mobile Intel 965GM CPU: Intel T7300 2GHz RAM: 2GB Graphic: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 |
BS.Player 2.34 Intel integrated graphics card Could be related to integrated graphics card by Intel. We will have to test this. |
I have the same problem with my computer, and my graphic card is an Nvidia (8800 GTS 320M) |
1 Attachment(s) Here can you find my bugreport |
crash at end of file Doest this error appears for ALL files or only wmv? |
It appears with divx files, avi mainly. I think there's a conflict with the codecs, cf my bugreport. When I watch a mkv file, no problem ... I tried to use only the codecs installed by bsplayer, but still the same problem ... |
Seen this report sually with XviD. |
Re: bsplayer 2.34 doesn't work on Vista SP1 I found the solution Do you have the last "Samsung PC studio" ? If yes, this app install a dll (fun_avcodec) wich is incompatible with WMP ou BSPlayer. You have to uninstall it, and then, it will work again normally :) |
Hello there, I have a very similar problem with bsplayer 2.34 (but also with the previous verions) and vista x86 sp1. It hangs and then chrashes on close or end of the file, in full screen and windowed mode. I'm not 100% sure but I think it only happens if I use pause or skip during the play, and if I let it play more than 2-3 minutes. I'm using internal renderer directdraw surface with aero. Problem signature: Problem Event Name: AppHangB1 Application Name: bsplayer.exe Application Version: 2.3.4.980 Application Timestamp: 2a425e19 Hang Signature: 2655 Hang Type: 18432 OS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.256.1 Locale ID: 2074 Additional Hang Signature 1: 4335f53c9288d933be3ec7c1774fd557 Additional Hang Signature 2: e068 Additional Hang Signature 3: dad6edda945fb517d857baa7ff086bd4 Additional Hang Signature 4: f629 Additional Hang Signature 5: 0596a8101342cf275f1b73f873dcd8f5 Additional Hang Signature 6: aee9 Additional Hang Signature 7: 6e6a41c2640fb0468651f9510c3c2634 My system is: K9N Neo V3 AMD Athlon 5000+ Gigabyte 8600GT 2GB RAM Edit: I just found the 2.35 beta in this forum, tried it, but the same thing happens. Edit2: Now I can confirm it doesn't happen if I let the video play from start to end, without pausing or seeking. Tested on few avi and mov files. Bsplayer uses ffdshow decoder on these files. |
go to Options-->Preferences-->Video-->Video Rendering-->Rendering mode-->switch from EVR(Enhanced Video Renderer) to Overlay mixer...or whatever...and the problem will disappear. |
