somehelp ?

It could be that the rendering mode you are using interfere with the rendering method used in the game (are you using VMR renderer in BSplayer?)
Try to change renderer and see if the problem occurs again (CTRL+P -> Video -> Video renderer -> Rendering mode)

If the problem persists, try to update BSplayer firt, then come back here to report again

Usually, 3D accelerated games use Overlay. Same as BSplayer. Normally, all other optiins than the use of OVERLAY should fix the problem.

Try to start the game first and then the video on BSplayer (or vice-versa)

Does this happen with all games or only with a specific game?
Other than the rendering mode, it could be that the game and BSplayer share the same codec and there could cause a conflict. When you start the video on BSplayer, right-click on the video window, then select these menu options -> Options -> Filters -> Advanced
List here the rusults (Audio, video, source, splitter, etc.), and if the conflicting game is only one also the game title.

Can you update BSplayer before doing other tests? It could also be a but in that ancient version, and v1.41 had nothing better than actual v2.40 ;)

and what ?

Tizio 5th May 2009 08:39 PM

Mhm.. I don't know, if it happens with every game you have tried I doubt it's because of the codecs, maybe the only thing you can try is to use the system default AVI splitter instead of the Gabest one. But I don't really know if this can interfere in some manner with a gameplay session.

Graphic card drivers (stable version)? DirectX? Have you updated both of them?
