problem definig key definition when using Gyration keyboard

I am trying to define a custom key definition for increase speed 10%. (BS Player 2.40).

on one computer using a microft keyboard, it works fine.

on another computer that uses Gyration Mobile keyboard, it does not. when pressing the newly defined key, the screen displays
playback rate 100%.
