Add shortcut for frame/time insert in subtitle editor. Why ? Let's see. I have a program I use for subtile translations. Wen you have an foreign translation it's easy, you can directly import frames and type the translation. When you don't have that you must create the sub from scrach, so you need to type the number manually or, in my case I have a shortcut key to insert frame into the subtitle file. It jumps from begin frame for line to end frame for line and after that jumps to the next line. Nice, isn't ? But....I can't watch the movie in full screen. I use BSPlayer for that. And while I watch the movie, I can generate the frame numbers by pushing one key (if you give me that key :D ). Next step, I have the frames (or times) and can start to do the subtitle file. |

ACCOMPLISHED IN v1.38.828 (14/02/2006) IMPROVE Multi user capability (by ska) To be "really" multy-user, a program should be able to seve settings in NON Privileged folders, so it is claimed that BSplayer saves xml settings in %USERPROFILE% instead in the BSplayer installation folder (not accessible for non privileged users) |
Please add support for .gvp (google video) format - if is it possible. I hate their own player... btw: I hate .gvp format itself, since it's made because of marketing, not really needed for technical reasons, I think.... |
IMPROVE Multy User capability (by Eddie1506) It would be nice to have an option to let the user choose if BSplayer have to save the options for all the users (User Profile folder) or only for the current user (BSplayer directory). As an alternative, let the user choose the path where the options should be saved. |

Thank you Tizio. Writing to sysdir (or the other xp dirs) is definitely not a good idea. |

"%AppData%\BSplayer" would be The Only Right Spot. |

This approach is Ok, for shareware and adware, whose main purpose is to hide. Let's say you decide to remove some apps or games. Then all files in sysdir will remain occupying space and filesys entries. Applications must keep their directories organized well. Not all ppl see only the start menu and setup.exe. This is one more example of the assumption that everybody uses WinXP and not Win98, where there were no limited accounts and therefore no problems writing in any dir. And if I am the only user of my XP comp and don't browse xxx, crack, scam sites [which install WhenU, clocksync etc] with MSIE, then there is no purpose to be Limited. |
Ok, so it seems all votes go to "let the user choose the path where the settings should be saved." BSplayer folder as default. |

Oh well... Back to 1.37 |
No, nothing done.. but I think the reason is that to choose a custom folder for Settings file, would imply that BSplayer have to write in the registry the path to the Settings file.. and maybe they don't want to do so.. |

Simple as that. |
This way it should work very well and everybody will be satisfied :D |

Another thing, I noticed that it is possible to change the fonts using shortcuts, is it possible to just chage the codepage (Cyrilic, Central European, etc) by using shortcuts, or sendmessage?? |
TV Tuner Audio Sync Problem: Possible Solution Add an option to let the users choose to use SistemMixer instead of BSplayer mixer, this way (for example when audio in for tuner device is Line-in the BSplayer mixer will not introduce delay but instead it will be bypassed and the audio directly outputted from the Line-in directly to the speakers) |
