compressing subtitles

I know text files subtiltles files are not that big, but it would be nice to include the possibility to have rared sub files (I know there is a dll to easyly read rar archives) they could be specified in bsi/ini files like this:

[Subtitles]
Sub1=Fran?§ais|french.rar

Another option (even better) would be to include all subtitles files in one rar archive and to use filenames (without extention) as language names:

[Subtitles]
Subs=subtitles.rar

the space used by the subtitles can be easyly divided by factor 2 or more like this...
