Video CD help please

I am new to BSplayer and am trying to make it my default player when playing cDVD's or videoCD's that I create with Sonic DVDit. I used to have my older player open the file VIDEO_TS.IFO to start the disc. BSPlayer seems unable to recognize the .IFO filetype. How does one have it start playing DVD or vCD's?
