Subtitle issues On one of my PC's, I am having problems getting BSplayer to play subtitles correctly on a Divx/AVI. If I have the .sub & .idx in the the same folder as the AVI, it works if I select the AVI to play. I can turn subtitles on and off with the "S" button. I have no chapters. If I define the subtitles and chapters in a BSI file, it doesn't work on *this* PC. Chapters work, subs don't. On a different PC, the subtitles work fine. However, whenever viewing subtitles as defined by a BSI file, the "S" key no longer can toggle them off. Vobsub is loaded on both PC's. 'Very erractic behavior. Anyone seen this behavior before? -Robert |
about your subtitle issue I checked out and you're right , with a .bsi file you can't turn the subtitles off! I had many problems at first with the subtitles but it came back good after a week or two. maybe you should change your subtitle format. I use subrip ( .srt) and it's really working well. |
OK, I can finally get vobsubs to work, and be able to turn them off if I leave the subtitles in the root with the AVI. I can't reference them in a subdirectory (no pun intended). Still strange... Robert |
R U sure that the [S] shortcut is only assigned once ? BSplayer do not send a warning when you attempt to assign several times the same shortcut, and there is no easy way to check the overall key assignments. |
