10-bit: how to make it work?
Well guys, recently a bunch of people have started to encode .mkv files in 10-bit H264 instead of the usual 8-bit H264. To properly decode 10-bit files, I need a recent ffdshow review. For instance, the 3874 review already supports 10-bit decoding.
The problem is, my BS.Player free (version 2.57, build 1051, 8. dez 2010) has an outdated version intalled of ffdshow (review 3135 if I am not wrong). This review does not decode 10-bit properly, and I've already tested other players with ffdshow rev. 3874 and it works.
I've searched quite a lot the forums looking for any information that would lead me to learning how to manually or automatically update ffdshow for BS.Player. Since I had no success, I decided to ask you guys. So, what do I do?
Apologies in advance if my question is already answered somewhere, but I really couldn't find anything related to what I wanted to know.
