Default unable to load

dear all,
I am tryingto open some avi and I have a couple of errors such as unable to load XXX.dll file...also in many occasions it calism that the format is wrong (DIV3). Please advise

Well...
First you should be a lot more precise on your error message! it helps a lot, if you paste a copy of the bsplayer error message.
Second if you had used the search function of the forum you should have found many answers to your second answer.

But again, if you get the error message "Wrong Format DIV3" it means that you either missed to install the proper codec or that the file is corrupted.

If the dll missing is bsrendv.dll, be sure that the player was properly installed... I mean, that bplay.exe need bsrendv.dll in the same folder to work.

If it can't recognize the DIV3 format, reinstall your Divx codec.
DIV3 is the Divx 3.11 one.

You will also get "Unknown file format (DIV3)" for incomplete divx files. Solution: finish downloading the file, or use DivFix to make the incomplete file playable ( it will still be incomplete of course :] )
