at first make sure you've NOT activated: - screensaver, and or - energy save stuff (deactivate via display properties->screensaver) - suspend mode for monitor in bios (press 'del' when computer boots -> power section) however if this is not the problem be sure to not play macrovision protected stuff (in this case, you won't see anything on the tv - from the beginning on) if macrovision is your problem, use a tool like TVTool (you can get a demo from the web or buy a version for about 10 bucks) to get around that... good luck |

I had the same problem using tvtool. Try to set the refresh rate of your main monitor to 85 Hz in Desktop properties. That solved my problem with bsplayer and tvtool and the black screen on tv.
