Strange things happening (film stops, audio continues)

I've recently re-downloaded bsplayer, after using winmedia for a few months.

I've done NOTHING with any settings - just installed and started.

Films play perfectly for a few minutes, then suddenly the image hangs, while the sound continues.

Any idea what's wrong?

Everything works perfectly in WinMedia Classic and whatever other version of the evil player I have installed ;)

forgot to add, that the only thing to do when this happens, is to reset the pc... quite annoying.
Oh well... guess it's back to old M$ until next build comes along... perhaps things will be better then..
