Default Help playing OGM files

When I try to open an OGM file, it doesn't do anything. How do I load one?

when you use the "open" button of bsplayer, the video does not automatically start playing (unless you changed that behaviour in the preferences)

=> open then hit play

Or have I not correctly understood what you meant ?

P.S. IMHO renaming OGMs to AVI is useless [that doesn't change what's INSIDE the file] and it's confusing... better know what's the file at first glance

Quietseb:

What I ment was that when you rename OGM to AVI, BSPlayer will open the file when you doubleclick it. (If AVIs are linked to BSPlayer)

Why not simply associate .ogm with bsplayer then ?

bsplayer preferences, click ogm, click register, click close and it's done ...
just as quick and less confusing ;)

i had the same problem. because the ogg filters associates with that file you have to delete the entry for ogm in the registry first.l
