Default subtitles in different scripts (central, ANSI, ...)

Hi @ll,

I'm looking for a way to automatically associate the good script (character page: central europe, ansi, ...) to the good subtitle file. just to avoid keyboard or mouse events (for a divx-box with remote ctrl only), needed to do Subtitles->Font->Script

In fact, I just want to create, for instance, a shortcut to 'movie french subtitle', and another 'movie polish subtitle' (not the same character pages), without having to change manually this character page.

it can be on .bsi files, with a .reg, .bat or whatever command line; with bsplayer subtitles, vobsub, ...

does someone knows a way or knows where this parameter is stored ?

Default

it's stored in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\BST\bsplayer

there is a REG_SZ (String Value) named SubD
it's coded as follows:
script;font-family;size;weight;color

for instance:
0;Arial;22;1;16777215
is script Western;font-family Arial; font-size 22; weight bold; color white

186;Arial;22;0;16777215
is script Baltic; font-family Arial, font-size 22; weight normal; color white

hope it helps

BTW I just had a look at the document about ini files that can be found in bsplayer's directory.

You can set the script along with the other font settings in .bsi files:

Code:
[Subtitles]
Font=0;Arial Black;12;3;16777215
In this doc can we read too:
Quote:
These lines are auto generated just press F10 in player and opt.txt will be generated

nice !
the ini (.bsi) modification is easier. I'll try tonight :-)
I thought it was only the subs font, color and position. but it seems you're right :-)
