fullscreen pan-scan problem

How can I set NO pan-scan in fullscreen mode? So that widescreen movies remain widescreen.

the pan-scan setting is a switch:
if it's off, clicking it turns it on
if it's on, clicking it turns it off

just that simple.

to check whether it's on or off, just right click on the playing video to have the menu appear. if there's a tick next to the "pan-scan" text of the menu then it's on; if not then it's off
