hi,
first I know it seems dumb but do you have Xvid installed? if not that might solve your problem. or maybe yuo dont have an older version

else:
did you have problems with your film ? ( CRC error or problems copying it or getting info on the file )

maybe your film is corrupted then tyr real one player who can read corrupted files.

hope it helps,
seeya

some XviD builds have problems decoding or recognizing some XviD files as actually being XviD files.. e.g. XviD [Nic's build 16/03/2003] had problems playing two xvid movies. After replacing it with XviD Decoder [Koepi's build 04/10/2002], everything went fine. Try K-Lite codec pack 2.02 (_not_ 2.01), at www.k-lite.tk.

DON'T use any codec packs!

download the latest available DEVELOPMENT xvid version, which should play all xvid movies, from the original developers!!!
