Default enhance the Volume of Ac3

Hi,

I have a movie wich has AC3 Sound but its so fu.... quiet that it's realy hard to understand everything. Is there a way to enhance the loudness of the Ac3 file from the movie? I can't find an option at bsplayer so i tried nandub but then the sound gets very scary.
If you have an idea how i could get this one louder but in a good quality then plz help me. Maybe there is a "plugin" or something for bsplayer to correct the loudness?

The best should be to boost your ac3 a bit. You have to extract it from the container (AVI i presume), then use a software to rework the AC3 (increase its volume) and then mux the AC3 again.

To extract an AC3 you have both GraphEdit (hard) or AVI-Mux (easy but not friendly the first time) that allow to mux or demux ac3 file in a couple of clicks.

Then use Besweet to boost your AC3. You have to watch out not to lose the 5.1 if yours has one, otherwise you'll get a 2Ch ac3 channel. There are tutorials on the net to do this.

Then you remux with Avi-mux.

Pretty simple when you are used to do it but in your case you maybe should do what QuietSeb suggests or more efficiently increase the volume of your speakers. ;)
