Default NO AUDIO SOUND???

I'm playing a burned cd....(movie) and there is no audio.... the sound bar does not move and it says -0.01 ...... it does not increase....

how do i fix this...... i DL the ssdshow exe and still nothing.....

what is it??? I'm on Windows ME!!!!

help!!!

you don't have the correct audio codec or filter installed, that's all.

ffdshow is a VIDEO decoder, it won't help in any way for audio issues.

download gspot and test your movie file with it, it will tell you what kind of codec you need
