Default No brightness adjustment for mpg!

Divx can have brightness/contrast/etc changed in the divx tab. Regular avis can have brightness changed with the "colour controls" setting.

But mpgs have no way to boost brightness! The "colour controls" menu option doesn't bring up the green slider thingy, and the mpg tab in the preferences has no kind of picture adjustment bars. This is a real problem for me, as my monitor is too dark and I need to boost the brightness of the things I view. Can anyone help?

if the install the ffdshow filter and configure ffdshow to use the mpg codec, you will be able to adjust brightness/contrast/etc.

you can grab ffdshow here
