unknown file format

I must be the only one with this problem because I can't find anything like it anywhere on this site.

Whenever I try to play a movie, I get the same message. "Unknown file format". This happens on every type I have. .avi, .mpeg, .mov and all others u can think of.

Now keep in mind that this next part is meant as a funny!!!!!!

With the trouble I'm having I'm beginning to think the BS Player is just BS. :D

the reason why you can't play most of the video extensions you mentioned is probably because you forgot to install the necessary codecs for playback. Do a google for nimo and download that. It's like an all-in-one package of varies codecs that will enable you to play most of the common formats.
