DivX / Xvid

Hi,

i read a lot of things about XVid which could be better than DivX but when watch a DivX movie on my TV i use the "film effect" option which gives better quality on dark images and i don't have this option for XVid or something similar. I try to play with the Brightness but i don't have good results.

Any advices ???

you could use ffdshow as a decoder (it decodes divx, xvid and many other as well).
It has many post-processing feature (blur, sharpness, brightness etc...)
