Default alternative to bsplayer for subtitles under Mac OS X?

I was wondering if, since BSplayer does not seem to be at all Mac-compatible, if there is some other program out there for Mac OS X that that will do subtitles for movies (grabbed from a text file that I already have for that movie). Thank you!

Also there's VideoLan (frequently updated):
