Default Short freezes all the time, processor 100%, Xvid

Hi, I have short freezes all the time, I checked the processor use and It´s 100% when I am seeing a movie. I shut down all the software that is running and leave only bsplayer, I try using windows media player also, I tried with divx total pack and K-lite codec pack. The problem is with Xvid movies. I have an AMD Duron with 160 MB RAM, Win2000PRO, AGP Diamond Stealth 4MB. I don´t know the processor speed but I think that it is 600 Mhz. A time before all works perfectly but now I don´t know what is originating this.

Thank you very much

Maybe your videocard with only 4MB cannot keep up with the large resolutions used in the last time ?
