Very strange problem - Pause does not work

Hello All,

I am hoping that someone can shed some light on this problem that I am having with BSPlayer Pro 2.63.

I just acquired a new/old laptop, a Dell Inspiron 8600 running Windows XP Pro 32-bit with SP3 plus all other patches.

I have the latest version of FFDShow installed.

Here's the strange problem. I CANNOT pause ANY video! If I click on the
the Pause button or press the Spacebar the video stops but the audio track keeps playing. It doesn't matter if the the video is local or over my home network .

I have not modified the network buffering or any other options that I know of.
I also have VLC 2.05 installed and it pauses and restarts videos fine.

What's going on with BSPlayer? Is there some incompatibility with the laptop? I've un-installed, cleaned the registry and then re-installed BSPlayer and still the same issue...
