RV9 FOR BSPlayer :-)))

Hi all,

gabest (mpc and vobsub developper) is developing a new DS filter for RV9 format (a demux not a codec)

The devt is not finished today, but it already works and allows me to play rv9 movies with BSPlayer (and other players in fact)

To install this filter :
- download realmediasplitter from : http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/
- extract the .ax file in \Windows\system32
- register it with something like : regsvr32.exe "c:\windows\system32\realmediasplitter.ax"

that's it : it is installed

BUT :
Sound implementation is not finished yet. Furthermore, different rv9 codecs found on the net seems to have different sound implementations.
-> surprinsibgly, it is recommended to install mpc+rv9codec to optimize compatibility. You can find the 'realalternative' pack (=mpc+rv9) here :

I'm not sure for the end of the 'procedure' but it works.

Caution : demux filter in development. you should re-download it later when finished for more compatibility ...

Nota : this is a DS filter from the more global project matroska container (that works with BSPlayer too because BSP is a DS player)
